Currently reading- actually listening but...Unbelievable so far!!! Appauling and heart warming all at the same time. Cant get enough of it!

Finished it super fast! Was actually llistening to it on CD and wouldn't get out of my car at the end of the drive home- wanted to stay in the car to keep listening! Loved it, keep thinking about it, hope others will read it...

Ruby Red Slippers or just the Ruby Winners' Circle

I really do work with fabulous people!

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to have such a wonderful team of MEN to work with. I set out with a goal of "tiering" in my first year of eligibility- the tiers are Daimond #1, Emerald is #2, and Ruby is #3. Considering the year that I had in 2007 I feel its a small miracle that I was able to make that goal. Its a lofty goal to begin with and with the significant help of my amazing team I was able to reach it. I know it is one of God's Tender Mercies.....
"I do not boast in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God. Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles [has he] wrought in this land, for which [I] will praise his name forever."

So I still haven't posted about my trip to Cabo San Lucas, I am planning on getting that done-- eventually. There are some really great pictures, stay tuned...








Okay I think life has finally slowed down a bit- well sufficient to be able to get some pictures up from a trip that was almost two months ago now!

I was given the opportunity to go to one of the most beautiful places in my crazy life of travels by my friend Micheal Visser! However, it took some real finagling to get there!

It all started with the realization that I didn't know where my passport was- I hadn't used it since last year when I came home from Africa. I have this pouch/envelope thingy that I keep all my travel stuff in, from SWA stuff to some flight schedules to my passport, well I knew I saw it last in there- it wasn't in there!

I looked high and low, no passport, so a lot of peso's later, I had an expedited passport in my hands! In short-It was a small miracle to get it in time!

We arrived and shortly got accosted by the relentless time-share sharks! We finally figured the catch-not only did they think that we should come to hear some presentation at 7 or 8 in the morning- but that I should leave a $20 deposit to make us committed- NOPE! not on vacation- I am not ever gonna be that girl up at 7 AM to get it all done while on VACA!

Anyway the Hacienda Del Mar was beautiful, and sooo peaceful to just 'BE' while there! The beach was so close- the waves were HUGE-too big to swim in- the sunshine was perfect- the pina colada from Jose-wonderful!

Once again my feet were happy feet!




















One of the really memorable things that I did was go scuba diving- I am not certified but was able to go down with a guide. His name was Nacho-it was actually amazing! I was so impressed by the temperature differences in the Sea of Cortez and around the corner in the Pacific Ocean! Much colder!

Here are some more of the many pictures taken on the trip! I loved this trip! I would HIGHLY recommend the Hacienda Del Mar Sheraton to anyone- just avoid the time-share people!

Finally Finishing the Hinckley Challenge!

I finally did it! I finished only ten days later than planned! All together in 107 days! Not too bad I guess... It was a good go around this time. I am glad I did it, I dont think I have ever read the Book of Mormon that quickly. I dont understand how the Parley P Pratts of the world can read it in two days?? But I do love it!


Soo I am a bit behind... What's New? Do you think I can read all that today??? Maybe...
