Christmas Day Adventures & Boxing Day!

Christmas this year was so great- I just had a peaceful calm feeing in my heart and took the time to notice it and cherish it. I didnt feel the anxious rushed feeling of hurry here and there and see everyone. I just relaxed and went where I felt inclined to go without the pressures that I have felt in years past. I loved it! I woke up and took my time getting ready-Long Hot shower(ahhhh!) and then I went over to my mom's house and opened a few presents there and ate breakfast! I did go to Charlottes and played with my lovies Devin, Hailey, Reagan and Chloe- they got a Wii for Christmas so we played that all morning, Devin and I tried to put together one of his new game/toys- it was pretty cool! Hailey, Reagan, Chloe and I worked on a LIGHT BRIGHT picture! (remember those?! I havent seen one in years! I think I loved it the most!) Chloe just wants to put the little pegs in everywhere and make it super colorful, to the dismay of her older sisters!

After much play at the Tuttles I went to get Tersha's kids and take them out to her moms house so we could play there for longer together (so nice of her to share her kids with me- even on Christmas day-thanks Tersh- love you! they bring me so much JOY!) That is where I used my new camera the most that day, hence so many picts of them above... It was fun! There I received the most important and loving gift I think I have ever gotten. Bruce (Tersha's Dad) wrote all of his daughters a letter for Christmas and put them in red envelopes on the tree, there was one for me in the tree as well. The letter, a testimony of Bruce's love for the Savior Jesus Christ, will be one of my life's treasures. I feel so blessed to be so close and so well loved by this amazing family. I LOVE you all so much!

Then back to Charlottes house to meet up with the whole family for more yummy food and more Wii playing!

The next day I went to my friends annual Boxing Day Celebration with the Pett family. If you dont know what Boxing day is, Google it! Mostly its getting together with some of the best people I know that I dont see nearly often enough! The picts with me in them are @ Boxing day; one with a gorgeous baby and two with gorgeous Suzanne Pett Young.

Christmas fun

Jamie came into town from Boise to spend the weekend with Anne-Marie and I! We decided that we would way rather spend time together than get each other presents, so down she flew! We did a lot of fun stuff, we grabbed dinner as soon as she got here and then off to the Festival of trees! We liked the Gingerbread houses the best- is any one surprised that the 3 of us would like something made of treats the best? I must mention that Annie's shoes looked smashing with her outfit, but she couldn't wear them out of the place and had to walk barefoot in the snow because they hurt her so bad- but they looked really cute with the outfit!
The next day we had breakfast with our favorite roommate, Taylor and just lounged around- then no trip with the 3 of us would be complete without a stop by the TJ (TJ Maxx for those of you that aren't on first name basis) we did lunch with some of my fam- for free to boot! and hit a flick-LOVED August Rush! Then Jamie and I went to "This is the place Monument Park" and felt as though we had walked back in time. Its an old 1800 villiage all decked out like Christmas back then! So quaint and nostalgic. (can something be nostalgic if you never really experienced it? It was tons of fun. Then we went to Temple Square and checked out this years lights! I still love that huge Red pine tree, but the orange ones by the Asembly hall were so incredible!

We are so lucky to have such a great friendship! It takes sacrifice and hard work to stay tight when we are so spread out, but its so worth it!
