Anything with the Massey's is an Adventure!

Todd and Carol came out to stay the night before they flew off to the Bay Area for some conferences for Todd's work. Carol has seizures in the night(keeps me up all night with her wiggles) so she didn't sleep in my bed this time so they both crammed into the spare bedroom where the Love Sac is stored-Todd thought it would be more comfortable than the couch- can you see why I need to sell the couch??

Off track Adventures with the Tuttle Girls

So a few weeks ago the Tuttle kids were off track and called to see if they could have a sleep over, the only problem was that I had to work in the morning because it was the middle of the week, so I told them they could have a "late over." They were so excited and came over and we started out by watching the end of American Idol then they wanted to do some art and play school so we got out the new drawing boards that I got for them a while back. Anne-Marie drew them some cool animals and we all tried to do some of our own...

Then we busted out the Dance Dance and a Little Karioke Revolution as well... It was a super fun night!

TURBO Adventures with Maryann

So for Conference Weekend My dear, wonderful, beautiful, crazy-fun friend Maryann came to town! We were so lucky- or I should say I was lucky seeing as She had tickets to the Saturday Morning Conference Session! She let me join her for the Solemn Assembly! It was amazing to be there for the sustaining of our new Prophet, President Thomas Spencer Monson. I do believe we saw the change in that mans countenance! It was amazing! I loved how they had all the different groups of membership stand to sustain him, it was amazing to be there in the Conference Center and see the Apostles stand and sustain the Prophet. I was touched when all the Aaronic Priesthood holders stood(It reminded me of an EFY moment when the young men stood to say they wanted to go on missions) and I loved standing with the Relief Society Sisters to sustain him. I loved that they even had the Young Women stand and sustain him. That surprised me, but shouldn't have...

Then later after watching Saturday afternoon Conference and taking a brief nappy! she had the brilliant idea to run up to Park City Outlets for a quick shopping spree... OH My Goodness Oh My Goodness! We were TURBO Shoppers and both closed down the stores we were in last! Super fast, super cheap and super fun - Oh and cant forget super CUTE!

We both did some damage but it was all worth it and of course half the fun for me is the DEAL! I love the good Deal and in case some of you didnt know this- I keep my tags on stuff because I want to remember the thrill of the deal!

Triplets turn ONE!!!

For those of you that haven't heard me rave about "the triplets" here is some explanation: Back in July I recieved an email from my RS pres that was asking for help within the stake... Here is a part of that email...

"Here is the situation…Holly and Juston Rawlings are a couple who have desired to be parents for many years. In April three babies (Elizabeth, Sydney and Jack) arrived 10 weeks early and were all in the 2 pound range. Their mom Holly had needed surgery due to a perforated bowel and even though care was taken not to disrupt the babies in the uterus, soon after Holly’s water broke and the babies arrived.

"As of a few weeks ago, all three are now home. Holly has been back to the hospital for follow-up surgery herself and still is in the healing process, but she can’t lift anything over 10 pounds. The babies are doing well, are adorable, and are between 7 and 10 pounds now! Holly’s mom has had to return to her home in Maine after being here for 2 months, and sisters in our ward are helping during daytime hours while Juston is at work.

"Being the triplet’s immune systems are still compromised, extra care has to be taken not to bring germs into the home. For this reason, we have tried to let sisters serve who do not have young children at home, and the doctors have said that no one should come who has any member of their household sick. With cold and flu season coming on, and the fact that a good percentage of women in the Mtn. Point 4th ward have young children or work outside the home, we are making an appeal for help from other wards to bolster our ranks."

SOooo I joined up! Sounds like I joined the ARMY huh! It has similarities to be sure! This has been one of the greatest blessings of my life in the last year. The triplets are a pure joy for me! I look forward to spending time with the whole family every week and have grown to love them all so much.

WELLL the Triplets just turned ONE!!! Holly had a wonderful little party planned for them and I took a few hundred pictures so all could see... The picts above are not of the party they are just one time when I was there taking care of them- I look hammered in the picts because I was taking care of TRIPLETS! I WAS hammered!
Many of the pictures with the babies are of other volunteers that have fallen in love with the babies too!

Okay after all that work I cant get this slide show to fit right on my blog... so I wont be using onetruemedia anymore. back to slide.com I dont want to mess with it though anymore so enjoy what we have there and I have another one to add later... I am hungry Gotta go eat no more blogging right now...

Here is the other bunch of picts I took...

Adventures with ANNIE & Reagan who is 7 now!

A few weeks ago I was at my Aunt Charlottes house and she told me that ANNIE was coming to Kingsbury Hall, so I got online and tried to find tickets right then. SOLD OUT! Big bummer! A few days later, as I was watching OPRAH-I know surprising- I saw a commercial for it and I called the number right then and got tickets for that Very night= whew spendy and only 2 seats on the 13th row... So I called and asked Char if she thought that Hailey would be sad if I just took Reagan (if she even dared to go??) for her birthday? And Char said that she thought it would be okay with Hailey and would ask Reagan if she dared! She said that she would go! She was so brave! And seemed to be excited!

(PS I am watching Oprah right now-surprising again! Maria Shriver is on-I love this one and have watched parts of it 3 times today, once at the gym, once at Char's and all of it right now!)

Reagan and I had a great time, she is such a sweetheart. I just love spending time with her and having her be a part of my life. The pictures are of us before we left and then the last one is of us at the theater! Happy Birthday Reagan, I sure love you!

You have read 193 pages of the Book of Mormon. You should be on page 326.3. You are currently 133.3 pages behind.

As of today, you must read 9.14 pages/day to finish by May 10, 2008
This is what the Hinckley Challenge website has to say about my reading! I am wayyy behind! But I am still in the game! I am even taking it to work with me now so that I can read when I am stuck in an office waiting to see/talk to a doctor. Its been hard lately as I am not only reading to do the Hinckley Challenge but also reading with another purpose, which slows me down a bit! I am loving the King Noah, Alma, King Limhi stories right now though!! So complex, so many "meanwhile back at the ranch" this was going on with these people- it strengthens my testimony that there is NO way that Joseph Smith could have written all this. I really love this book!
